TATTOO REMOVAL by SharpLight

SharpLight’s Tattoo removal equipment is a laser technology that is used to target the ink of the tattoo and to apply localized pulses of light, aimed to decompose the tattoo’s pigment clusters.

How does it work?

The pulsed light safely passes through the skin’s outer layer and is absorbed by the ink; the light is then converted to heat, which breaks the ink down into much smaller, more manageable particles. The body’s lymphatic system then filters these particles out over several weeks and as this natural elimination occurs, the tattoo fades and eventually disappears.

Suitable for ages 18 and over.

Frequently Asked Questions

When will I see results?    You may see visible results two weeks after 1st treatment.

Is there a lot of downtime associated with the treatment?     You might experience temporary redness in the treatment area with some swelling, which should pass within several hours. You may get some pinpoint bleeding. In the following days, you may get some crust, which sloughs off at around 10-14 days.

How many treatments are required?     The typical regimen is an average of 8 treatments, spaced 8 weeks apart for best results. (Everyone is different and may need more or less than the next person).

Are the treatments safe and painless?     SharpLight's Tattoo Removal treatments are safe. During the procedure, there will be a stinging warming sensation that will be felt. We will apply a cold compress after the treatment for five minutes to help with the swelling and heat caused by the treatment.  The treatments have no downtime, so you can get them done during your lunch hour and immediately proceed with your daily routine with some aftercare instructions.
