NURSE PRACTITIONER, Jennifer Parsons

Medication Refills - $50

15 mins approx. - Can also be offered virtually.

Medication refills for prescription medications previously prescribed.

· If you are a new patient, an initial assessment appointment must be booked first, as a full history must be completed before filling a prescription.

Referrals/Consults - $100

30 mins approx.

This includes referrals to specialists (cardiology, orthopedics, psychiatry, gastrointestinal, urology, optometry, respirology, internal medicine, wound care, diabetes education, dermatology, general surgery). Also includes requests for services such as cardiac monitoring, pulmonary function testing, allergy testing, scopes (endoscopy/colonoscopy), etc. Not limited to these specialties.

· If you are a new patient, an initial assessment appointment must be booked first, as a full history must be completed before sending referrals/consults.

Mental Health Concern (New/Worsening) - $100

30 mins – Can also be offered virtually.

- Appointments to discuss a wide range of mental health concerns including anxiety and depression. Discussions related to counselling, coping skills, and mental health resources, as well as, medication starts/increases/monitoring.

· This service can be booked as an initial or follow up.

Initial Assessment: $75

30 mins approx.

Patients book an appointment to discuss 1-2 chief complaints. A focused history and physical exam will be performed and a comprehensive review of medications. If patients require medication starts, bloodwork, consultations for other services, diagnostic imaging, and more can be done at the initial assessment.
*This service must be booked before booking any follow-up appointment options.

Follow-up Appointment - $50

15 mins approx. Can also be offered virtually.

Virtual follow-up appointment are available for results and re-assessment (bloodwork, x-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and general test results).

Acute Illness - $50

15 mins approx. Can also be offered virtually.

An acute illness is a medical condition that typically has a rapid onset and a short duration, often characterized by severe symptoms. These illnesses can range from flu like symptoms, strep throat, chest infections, urinary tract infections, to new abdominal pain, back pain, or feeling generally unwell but are not limited to these conditions.

JENNIFER PARSONS: Nurse Practitioner, Medical Injector

Jennifer (she/her), worked as a registered nurse in Thoracic/General surgery at St. Clare’s before moving to the fast-paced Emergency Department at the Health Science Centre. In May 2023, Jennifer graduated with a Master's of Nursing Degree, specializing as a Nurse Practitioner in Family/All Ages. In October 2022, Jennifer completed the Botox and Filler injector course in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Upon completing the Botox and filler course, Jennifer's interest in aesthetics was ignited, leading her to become truly absorbed and eager for more knowledge in this field. It inspired a new passion within her, driving her to seek further expertise and exploration in aesthetics. She remains up to date on all current treatment options through her active participation in various courses, webinars, and training sessions. Beyond her thriving career, Jennifer finds joy in her personal life. She loves spending time with her 5-year-old son Nate, her amazing mother Sherrie, and two cats, Carl & Eddie.
